Everybody has a mental health, just as we all have physical health. Mental ill-health can interfere with how a person thinks, feels, and behaves. It may or may not meet the criteria for a mental illness diagnosis like major depressive disorder, social anxiety, or bipolar disorder. Symptoms of mental ill-health don’t have to be severe for someone to seek help.
