Using a warm and compassionate approach, Emily works in collaboration with clients to develop a greater sense of self-understanding, self-acceptance and make positive changes. She supports clients to navigate challenges in life, whether this be an ongoing concern that they have been dealing with for some time, or a new challenge such as a major life change or transition.
Working from a person-centred approach, Emily draws from various therapeutic styles including Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitisation Reprocessing (EMDR). She has experience in supporting people with a range of presenting concerns, including mood difficulties, anxiety, low self-esteem, substance use, early trauma and difficulties with emotion regulation.
Emily shares her time with Mission Australia, working with complex mental illness. Contact us
